Seafarers Centre Directory
Time ashore is precious for seafarers so we have produced this guide to give seafarers the basic information about where you can find facilities and assistance that are available. Please find information about where you can contact the seafarer centre or welfare worker in each port. We include the contact details, opening times, and facilities available. Telephone numbers are printed with the country code included.
There are many places in the world who call themselves 'Seamans Club' that are commercial businesses. These are not listed in the directory as we only include centres that are members of the International committee on Seafarers' Welfare (ICSW), the International Christian Maritime Association (ICMA) or a bona-fide welfare centre who operate for the welfare of seafarers.
We have included as many places as possible. The details were checked late 2011/early 2012. We may have missed some ports and centres that seafarers know about. We apologise for any omissions. Please report these omissions to us and we will include them in future editions. If you find details that are not correct or wish to comment or add to the list of facilities in the guide then please email us at This email address is being protected from spambots.
