Wrist Ship Supply, a new member of ISWAN, is sponsoring the Seafarer Centre of the Year in the International Seafarers' Welfare Awards which were launched on 9 September. The International Seafarers' Welfare Awards are now in their fourth year and are run by the International Seafarers' Welfare and Assistance Network, (ISWAN). Wrist Ship Supply is the world's largest ship supplier and its headquarters are in Denmark with offices all over the world.
Robert Kledal, Chief Executive of Wrist, said 'We are delighted to be sponsoring the Seafarer Centre of the Year Award. The welfare of seafarers is important to us as they are the end users of our services.'

The awards are nominated by seafarers and nominations close on 26 November 2013. The other awards categories are shipping company of the year, port of the year, and welfare personality of the year. The awards will be presented by Mr Guy Ryder, Director General of the International Labour Organisation at a high profile event at the ILO in Geneva on 7 April 2014.
