For the second year running, ISWAN’s Executive Director, Roger Harris, will be cycling 100 miles in support of seafarers.
On Sunday 4 August 2019, Roger will join the 25,000 cyclists taking on the challenge of the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100. Following a similar route to that of the London 2012 Olympic Road Cycling Races, Roger will start in Queen Elizabeth Park then travel through the capital and the Surrey countryside before a spectacular finish on The Mall in central London, 100 miles later.
Roger says: ‘I’m looking forward to taking part in this event again for the third time. I know that it will be tough but it’s a privilege to be riding through London and surrounding areas for 100 miles on roads closed to traffic. I hope that you can support me.’
Roger will be raising funds towards ISWAN’s work for the wellbeing of seafarers worldwide. You can show your support by sponsoring Roger at uk.virginmoneygiving.com/RogerHarris10.
